My great country England lost out too....... It was Winston Churchill himself who said that Great Britain fondly believed she had won the war, she didn't, Russia and America won the war.

I'll stick to the TV programmes if you don't mind because most of the films I enjoyed as a child, I still love now. That's not to say I don't still like the childhood TV programmes though!

Here they are in no particular order:

Billy Liar (Comedy Series)

Citizen Smith (Comedy Series)

Crossroads (Soap Opera)

Pipkins (Children's TV Programme)

And most of the 'Watch With Mother series' Including 'Andy Pandy, Camberwick Green, Herbs, Trumpton etc........

I know most of these are available on disk now, and it's good to look back and remember how enjoyable they were to watch then, and maybe watch some of them again now!

Elizabeth Taylor's 'Passion'.......not so easy to get now as it has been replaced with her 'White Diamonds' which to be honest is nowhere near as effective as the Passion.

However, it can be purchased from Amazon!
